Since its entry into force in 2020, nearly 100 changes have been implemented across social media and digital platforms around the world, significantly improving children's online privacy and security.

This regulation not only responds to the major challenges arising from intensive internet use during the pandemic, but also sets a global benchmark by adopting principles such as data minimization, protection by design and default, and adapting to children as subjects of rights.

Adopting similar regulations in Argentina would allow us to move toward truly responsible digital design, aligned with global standards and focused on child well-being.
